Here's another poem from Shel Silverstein. It's another one of my favorites. :)

ALICE

She drank from a bottle called DRINK ME
And up she grew so tall,
She ate from a plate called TASTE ME
And down she shrank so small.
And so she changed, while other folks
Never tried nothing at all.

And, well, here's one from me...

To Cal

You make me feel loved and protected from harm
When you take me into your arms.
You're always there when I feel alone,
There when all my hopes have flown.
You're there to comfort me when I'm scared of the night,
There to soothe me after a fight.
I see answers to my questions, truth, not lies,
When I look deep into your soulful eyes.
When my day feels so sad and blue,
I know I could always run to you.
I will always treasure the moments we share.
I will always love you.... my dear teddy bear.
