Of Pumpkins, Worms, Kisses, and Riddikulus Theories
I solemnly swear that in my humble personal opinion, "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" should rate 4.6 Giant Pumpkins on a scale of 1 to 5 Giant Pumpkins.

I spent yesterday morning researching a worm called Sasser that infects vulnerable systems running Windows XP, to help my love fix Kristoff. Time and time again I marvel at what possesses these virus creators to do what they do. But then again, they say there's a thin line between genius and insanity. I guess when treading that line, it's not so very hard to fall into the Dark Side. That worm is totally creepy. When you're infected, it's like your system is under the Imperius Curse, and can be controlled remotely by another system or person.
If you're running XP and haven't yet installed the patch that will help protect your system from the worm, go read
Microsoft's MS04-011 Security Bulletin. For more info on that XP vulnerability and info on the worm and how to remove it, go
here.
Wait a minute. Imperius is an Unforgivable. Lock them people who propagate that worm in Azkaban. And I hope the Dementors will kiss them too.

And while we're on the subject of kissing, here's one of the funny Pinoy Harry Potter Shirt Prints that the
Hogwarts Philippines faculty came up with:
(print on shirt) Dementor: "Pare, pa-kiss."

At the risk of being haunted by the ghost of the Potters, here's a riddikulus theory (pun intended), which, you never know, might actually end up not being too riddikulus at all. :)
I never knew that JKR mentioned something about Alfonso Cuaron being able to foreshadow things that may be revealed in future books in his PoA adaptation, until after I watched the film.
Aside from what may be a Ron-Hermione conclusion to the shipping debates, there was another thing which Cuaron hinted at, that I think may be substantial, and *may* be revealed as a backstory in books 6 and 7.
In the scene where Harry was talking to Remus at the bridge-with-the-breathtaking-view, Remus said some very... enlightening things... about Lily Potter. The things he said, and the manner in which he said them (watch the movie! heheh), sort of hints at him liking Lily. Possibly even loving Lily. This presents a lot of possibilities regarding the school life of Lily Evans and the Marauders.
Possibly ridikkulus scenario 1: Lily Evans actually liked either Remus Lupin or another Marauder, and not James. However, since it was James who was actively pursuing her, she eventually fell in love with him.
Possibly riddikulus scenario 2: Everyone of the Marauders liked Lily Potter (esp. Remus and James). However, James was the first to stake his claim on Lily, and since the Marauders were too loyal to each other then, they left it to James to pursue Lily.
Hrmmm.... In retrospect, they do sound like riddikulus scenarios. I may be reading more into that little scene at the bridge-with-the-breathtaking-view. But then again, you never know. :)
Now I really wish JKR would write a Marauders series as a prequel to the HP series! :D
