The One About Blogger Rants, Lego Bricks and Pan Sequels
Blogger obviously hates me today because it won't format the darned quiz properly. Can't even understand a simple command to make some words color black. Grrrrrr.

This is fun. Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital of London, to which JM Barrie left the rights to "Peter Pan", is challenging Britain's top 3 children's fiction writers (and other writers too) to embark on the "awfully big adventure" of writing a sequel to the original story of the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. Two of those authors, Philip Pullman and Jacqueline Wilson, already declined to do the story, but JK Rowling wasn't available for comment, as she was on holiday. I'm speculating JKR would probably decline too. Who would have the courage to actually write a sequel for such a classic? More details
here. Interesting.
