Besieged by Pesky Pixies! I've been offline for days because our office network was besieged by pesky pixies (errr... I mean viruses...) and drastic security measures had to be taken. But hopefully, the connection is now stable.

So after catching up on tons of email, I'd better catch up with blogging!

The Amazing Race 5 ends today! The two-hour season-ender will start at the Coconut Palace. They will go rock climbing in Palawan, and end the race in Canada. Fun. I'm still rooting for Chip and Kim or the Bowling Moms. :D May Colin and Christie get yielded again. Wahahahaha!

JKRowling.com has a new section and more hidden goodies! Here's a drawing of Peeves by JKR on tea-stained paper that I got for my efforts:

I am still waiting for the dratted doxy to appear on the main page so that I can get to those pages from "Dragon Breeding for Pleasure and Profit". =)

She also has a new section called the "Rubbish Bin". It's where she tells the fans the truth about certain rumors that are circulating about her or her work. She even has a classification scheme for the rubbish ranging from "Starting to Smell" to "Toxic". She considers "Gilderoy Lockhart was based on JKR's first husband" as "Toxic" because it's hurtful and damaging. Oh so true. The Rita Skeeters of the real world have been very busy....

Yesterday, I met another Harry Potter fanatic. It's funny, really. I met her during a meeting for a Star Wars event! =p Now she's bound to hound me for info about books, movies, and even robes (calling Cousin Malkin! LOL!). Naturally, I directed her to the PHP website. *wink* But! *turn on Slytherin mode* It always helps to have some "giants" on your side for future events, so I think I'll just indulge her a little when she starts to bother bother me. ;)

*still waiting for Doxy to appear on JKRowling.com main page....*

Gimli is Grievous? On the Star Wars front, reports say that in a recent convention, when John Rhys-Davies (Gimli in the LOTR movies) was asked if he will be doing any more voice work after doing Treebeard for LOTR: TTT, he answered that he will be doing something next month and that the working conditions will be grievous. Oh man. If Gary Oldman really won't be doing the General Grievous voice work anymore, then John Rhys-Davies sure is an interesting choice to replace him. Wow.

*darn it. what's taking that Doxy so long?!?!*
