Went to watch "The Hours" last night, messaged I1 at the last minute to accompany me because R was suddenly held up by her boss. Although I've heard of this movie, I really didn't know what to expect. I haven't seen a trailer or read a synopsis. Turns out it's not the type of movie I would normally prefer to watch. But Nicole Kidman was a gem in this movie and her performance alone made the movie worth watching. But the plot was very interesting too, and it was all in all, a good movie. I hope Nicole wins awards for this. She was fantastic. Her Virginia Woolf character is so far removed from her other roles, but she delivered it very convincingly. So convincingly, it was a little eerie. I sat there not recognizing that it was indeed her. I give the movie 4.5 out of 5 stars. :)

Excerpts from GiNnY's Diary

Had a couple of long talks with a couple of friends last night and discovered something very important that made me feel a little better. It's looking more and more like Cho Chang is out of the way. I hope so. :)

Wasn't able to resist him. Teehee. :) Fool of a Took.

I remember clearly how you looked the night we met
I recall your laughter and your smile
I remember how you made me feel so at ease
I remember all your grace and style.

And now you're all I long to see
You've come to mean so much to me.

Chances are I'll see you somewhere in my dreams tonight
You'll be smiling like the night we met.
Chances are I'll hold you and I'll offer all I have
You're the only one I can't forget....
